by Oliver Thompson

Prudential Home Insurance

Prudential Plc has over 160 years of experience offering financial services, from banking, insurance and pensions.

Their Home Insurance offers the following benefits:

- £250 Home Emergency Assistance, including call out, parts and labour, without loss of no-claims discount
- Automatic access to our Identity Theft Assistance Helpline
- Accidental damage cover available for laptops, TVs, drains, pipes and more
- Up to £5,000 cover for temporarily removed contents
- £2 million to cover your personal liability
- Pay in instalments
- Discounts off contents premiums, in certain circumstances
- Up to £50,000 optional legal expenses protection

Prudential Customer Experiences

Most Prudential customers are happy with their cover. Whilst prices may not be among the cheapest on the market, the service actually offered lives up to price you pay for a policy.

Customer help line staff are praised as being helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. Even cases of accidental damage, or more complicated cases requiring lengthy repair work, pose little trouble for those giving advice.

New customers are pleased to see how quick and easy it is to sign up, whilst those making claims are satisfied that the process is not complicated or stalled in any way. Few problems seem to exist in this area, even for more complex cases.

Overall Review for Prudential Home Insurance

Prudential offer a professional, straight-forward home insurance service.

In terms of value for money, this may be one of the best. The customer service is strong and it is relatively simple to process a claim.
